Sex is a big deal, there are many irreversible consequences and unavoidable risks. DO I HAVE AN STD The truth is if you have had sex of any kind, you certainly could have been exposed to a sexually transmitted disease. Condoms and barrier methods are not 100% effective against disease and pregnancy. DO YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS If you want to be sure, you must be tested. We provide FREE and Confidential STD testing for two of the most common sexually transmitted diseases: Gonorrhea and Syphilis HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT Call our office for appointment 352.344.3030 WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY APPOINTMENT You will complete a short intake form and meet with a Nurse before collecting a urine sample. HOW DO I GET MY RESULTS You will make note on your intake form for a Pass Code Phrase to confirm your identity when we call to give your results. WHAT IF I AM POSITIVE The Health Department requires notification positive test results WHAT IF I WANT A FULL EXAM AND STD PANEL This can be accomplished with your primary care physician or by making an appointment with the Health Department |
