The Pregnancy & Family Life Center of Citrus County was established in 1982 as a non-denominational not-for-profit. We have cast a vision to empower women and men to choose life through a wholistic and faith centered approach that nurtures well-being, fosters community and promotes personal growth.
Over the past 40+ years PFLC has been accomplishing and achieved a generational impact to the lives of our clients and their extended families. This has been made possible through their approach to life affirming care and services which are all offered free to their clients, including: Women's Wellness Program, Pregnancy testing, Ultrasound (limited), STD Testing, Mental Health Program, Prenatal, parenting and Family Life Lessons, Family Financial Coaching, Men's Mentoring, clothing, food pantry, Community Referrals, and Adoption referrals. In addition to this, The Pregnancy & Family Life Center also reaches out to serve children and families of our community by hosting a back-to-school bash in late July, Christmas time we sign up our families to receive gifts from "Santa" through The Elf Program at the Family Resource Center. |

Stephanie Bell, RN, Director
Stephanie Bell has been the Executive Director of the PFLC for over 7 years. She was born in Citrus County and is raising her 4 children here. She has been a nurse for over 23 years but has found her true calling at the PFLC. When she was five her parents started the PFLC with a small group of individuals who knew that there was a need to help women in crisis pregnancies. Over the years the PFLC has adapted its programs and services to fit the needs of our Community. The PFLC believes in taking a holistic approach and surrounding our families with love and compassion while providing for their fundamental needs as well. Stephanie's mother Marianne still works alongside her in the pregnancy center and her children are actively involved as well. She attends Redemption Point church and after work, kids, and sports she is pretty much done for the day. Stephanie has a heart for the lost and hurting and truly loves seeing how God can move in the lives of those who come into the Pregnancy and family Life Center.
